Collect
Collect is the first step and entails the selection of the correct pond liner. smartpond® offers both flexible and preformed liners. Flexible Pond Skins® Pond Liners are the right choice for creating ponds of unique shapes and sizes, whereas Preformed Liners are for the homeowner looking for a more uniformly shaped pond. smartpond® also offers additional components to accompany the liners, such as our Waterfall Foam Sealant, Polished Pond Stones, and our line of Tubing.
Move
Move is the second step and focuses on the pumps because the key to maintaining clean water is to keep it moving. Pond pumps are designed to work in ponds containing fish and plants, Fountain pumps are perfect for low maintenance fountains and spitters (statuary that direct water flow), and Waterfall pumps are designed to move the large volumes of water necessary for creating dramatic waterfalls. All smartpond® pumps are energy efficient, easy to install and maintain. Our pumps include flow control valves that allow the consumer to change the volume of the output of water.
Purify
Purify is the third step in the process. smartpond® offers a complete line of water treatment products such as Algaecides and Water Clarifier to ensure the pond is healthy and clean. They also offer a range of filtration systems, which are essential to maintaining a clean pond and creating a safe home for fish and plants. From Pump Filters (those that remove debris from the water) and Pond Filters (those that help balance the overall biological level of the pond) to a UV Clarifier (cleans the water as it moves over the 9 watt UV Bulb), smartpond® has a filter for any pond.
Accent
Accent is the fourth and final step, includes various products such as fountain nozzles heads, floating pond lilies, a line of hand crafted spitters, and low voltage LED accent lights, and solar powered light kits. With smartpond®, the design possibilities are virtually endless allowing you to decorate your pond to your liking!
New Technology
New Technology. smartpond® has introduced four New Technology pumps to their line. Not only do these pumps move your water, they also each have an additional feature. These pumps combine the Move step with either the Purifiy or Accent step, so you are getting two steps with one pump – what a value! Just look for “New Technology” in the upper right hand corner of the packaging!
