Most city water supplies are treated with chlorine, or a more powerful form of chlorine called chloramine. Both chlorine and chloramine kill disease organisms in water; making it safe for human consumption. Unfortunately, chlorine/chloramine burns fish gills and can cause permanent damage or death. Instructions

To verify pond size use measurements in feet: Rectangular: length (ft.) x width (ft.) x depth(ft.) x 7.5 = total gallons of water
Circular: diameter (ft.) x diameter (ft.) x depth (ft.) x 5.9 = total gallons
of water

Shake product well. Add one capful (5ml) per each 20 gallons of water. ½ cup (4oz) treats 480 gallons, 1 cup (8oz) treats 1920 gallons.

Usage/dosage: Use to detoxify water after filling pond or performing a water change. Instantly removes chlorine and chloramines and detoxifies heavy metals from tap water. When adding new fish to pond add smartpond® Chlorine Remover to replenish the natural coating and reduce fish stress.
